Since the start of the Syrian civil war in 2011, more than four million Syrians have fled to neighboring countries and beyond. Along the way they have been joined by nearly 240,000 more refugees from other war-torn counties in the Middle East and Africa. Samaritan's Purse, with the help of generous Canadian donors, has been responding to this crisis since it began by providing food, shelter materials, clothing, Bibles, heaters and the hope of the Gospel to these displaced families.

Many thousands of Syrians and Iraqis are still in Kurdistan, a relatively safe area in north Iraq, after fleeing for their lives from ISIS and the Syrian civil war. We are relying on generous Canadians like you to provide physical and spiritual help to these desperate people—everything from shelter materials to food, vocational training and household supplies.
