In Thailand, a young woman is escaping from prostitution and a life on the streets.
She is being welcomed at a place that is filled with love, a place where she can
begin to heal after years of sexual exploitation. She is receiving an education,
she is learning a trade, and she is being shown the love of Jesus Christ. She is
realizing that the horrors of her past need not determine the outlook for her future.
At Samaritan's Purse, it is our goal to help women get off of the streets and to
stop the global network of human traffickers. We have seen the fear and pain in
the eyes of a 12-year-old girl who is being exploited. We know the terror that haunts
women who have been ripped from their homeland and forced into the sex trade. We
have witnessed the remarkable transformations that takes place when a woman is given
support and love. We have stood beside women as they move forward with healthy lives.
By supporting Samaritan's Purse Women’s Projects, you are enabling a woman to escape
the horrors of a life exploited.
A woman from Ethiopia knows the power of acceptance and unconditional support after
a lifetime on the streets. She knows the redemption found in forgiveness. She has
learned to pass these skills on to others with the courage to follow in her and
His steps. Learn her story.
Without a doubt, many people may feel awkward or uncomfortable discussing trafficking
and prostitution. Samaritan's Purse Women’s Projects expose some of the lies and
