Canadian Disaster Relief Team

Join the Samaritan’s Purse team as we help families recover after devastating disasters across Canada. Volunteers with a heart to serve are at the core of our Canadian Disaster Relief ministry.

The devastation left in the wake of a disaster often overwhelms the area it strikes, making outside resources and help crucial. In disaster situations, Samaritan’s Purse assesses the needs and provides immediate help by partnering with local churches, volunteers, and emergency management services. Once on location, volunteer work teams are dispatched to help affected families reclaim their homes, dry-in roofs, clear properties, remove debris, sanitize houses, and more. Through our compassionate volunteers, families not only receive hands-on help, but also valuable human interaction during their time of need—a shoulder to lean on—that gives them hope for the future.
