Operation Christmas Child Mission Trips
Join a Mission Trip and distribute shoeboxes with Operation Christmas Child.
Have you ever packed a shoebox at Christmas time to send to a child in need? Have you ever wondered where these gift-filled boxes go, and who the children are that receive them? Would you like to hand out your shoebox in person to a special boy or girl on the other side of the world?
This year, Canadians have the opportunity to go with us on an Operation Christmas Child Mission Team to Costa Rica. Participants will have the chance to assist at distribution events, participate in children’s ministry and outreach, and witness the impacts of The Greatest Journey – a 12 week discipleship program that children are invited to after receiving a shoebox. Costa Rica Family Trip - December 28, 2017 - January 5, 2018
In 2016, several pastors from churches across Canada went on an Operation Christmas Child shoebox distribution trip in Senegal.
Christian comedian Leland Klassen joined them.
This year we also had some Canadian volunteers travel with us to Costa Rica to help distribute gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, and see the impact of our voluntary “The Greatest Journey” Bible study program for children and families that received shoeboxes.
