World Water Day
About 842,000 people are dying each year from diarrheal diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation and hygiene. But Samaritan's Purse Water Projects are saving lives through safe water.
The lives of more than 1.46 million people around the world have been transformed by access to safe water and improved hygiene and sanitation through Samaritan's Purse Water Projects. Unfortunately, about 842,000 people are dying each year from diarrheal diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation and hygiene. That means a death every 37.5 seconds.
Help us CHANGE THAT. Click here to make a donation.
Samaritan's Purse provides safe water to families in Cambodia, Nicaragua, Kenya the Philippines, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo by not only installing BioSand Water Filters, but also by drilling and repairing wells, constructing large Samaritan Filters at schools, expanding rainwater reservoirs, and building water storage tanks. We also build latrines and provide families with essential health and hygiene training. As a result, lives are saved, families' health is restored, parents save money on medical expenses, and children can attend school more regularly.
Ways you can help
Please pray that millions more people would be provided with the clean water they need to experience good health.
Thank you for supporting our water projects around the globe. Your gift of $150 can, for example, provide a BioSand Water Filter to a family thirsting for clean water. Donate Here
