Verbo Christian School

Your gift can help vulnerable children at Verbo Christian School in Nicaragua receive a quality Christian education from preschool through secondary school, giving them the opportunity to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

The Verbo Christian School in Bluefields, Nicaragua has been providing quality Christian education for 20 years and currently has more than 400 elementary to grade 12 students. Many come from low income families who otherwise would not have access to quality education that helps students break the cycle of poverty that has trapped many of their families for generations.

Samaritan's Purse Mission Team volunteers have helped with construction and renovations at the school. However, dedicated teachers are the key to transforming this investment from just another building into a place where students can prepare for their futures and develop their God-given skills.

Although the school charges tuition, most families are unable to pay these fees, which leaves the school with a financial shortfall. Generous Canadian donors have enabled Samaritan's Purse Canada to supported Verbo Christian School for nearly a decade. Please prayerfully consider how you can join with us to continue the work at Verbo. A donation of $240 can provide a child a full year of education--that’s just $20 per month. You can also help pay a teacher’s salary for a full year with a $3,500 donation.
