Samaritan's Purse is operating an Emergency Field Hospital and medical clinics in Ukraine.
April 7 is World Health Day, and it is time for all of us to honor and pray for our courageous healthcare workers, including Canadian nurses and doctors who are serving with Samaritan’s Purse in Ukraine. Would you join in praying for them? Pray for God’s protection, peace, and strength as they care for us in our times of greatest need.
Samaritan’s Purse continues to provide medical relief to displaced Ukrainians, serving them at our Emergency Field Hospital on the outskirts of Lviv, in western Ukraine. The hospital opened on March 14.
We are also operating a 24-hour medical clinic at a train station in Lviv. To meet growing needs, we opened an additional clinic in one of the city’s major bus stations.
Our fourth medical intervention, an Emergency Outpatient Clinic, is meeting medical needs in southern Ukraine.
The Emergency Field Hospital and three medical clinics have received hundreds of patients in Lviv and in southern Ukraine.
