The Rohingya continue to face tremendous challenges even after fleeing Myanmar. Samaritan's Purse continues to provide medical care for these desperate people.
Almost a million Rohingya have fled from Myanmar to Bangladesh. Conditions remain difficult in crowded camps. Monsoon rains only compound the problems. Learn more by watching journalist Greta Van Susteren’s recent report (above) for Voice of America (VOA) from Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh. Greta is a longtime friend and supporter of Samaritan’s Purse and has traveled to the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East to see our work.
Samaritan’s Purse has been receiving patients at the medical clinic we established in Cox’s Bazar since Jan. 1, 2018. Though no longer treating diphtheria, our staff members continue to provide high-quality care in Jesus’ Name. Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham saw our work in Bangladesh in January. You can read more about his trip here.
