For a Hungry World

Samaritan’s Purse is working around the world in Jesus’ Name to feed hungry families

God can work through you to confront a global hunger crisis

Malnutrition, food insecurity, and hunger were deep and devastating global problems before COVID-19. The pandemic made them much worse. More people are becoming hungry, and the hungry are becoming hungrier—in the hundreds of millions.

Your prayers and support sustain and relieve the suffering of families as we run and expand food projects in more than 20 countries.

As our world faces growing hunger, God has provided powerful ways to respond. He can use your prayers and support to sustain families and relieve their suffering in His Name.

Working with our local church partners, distributing emergency food in places like Nicaragua, southeast Asia, and Cambodia is vital to sustain families during food shortages.

Seeds, tools, and agricultural training teach families, through Biblical principles, to raise animals, crops, and gardens that are plentiful, sustainable, and resilient to disaster. Many families that have received this training—in the Philippines, across Southeast Asia, and in many other countries—have not needed emergency food through this global health and hunger crisis.

All of these efforts open doors to lift up the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and share His Good News. Every one of your gifts and prayers matters to provide for families, ensuring they have consistent, nutritious, and plentiful food—even in the darkest times.

Will you fight the global food crisis today in Jesus’ Name?

“The poor shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. Let your heart live forever! ” (Psalm 22:26, ESV).
