Affordable surgical access is a significant challenge in Kenya; the Kijabe Hospital needs to double or triple the number of operating theatres to meet the current patient demand.
Since the hospital’s inception in 1915, surgical provision has been the central focus of the Kijabe Hospital. Across Kenya, Kijabe is known as an orthopedic and general surgery center, and in recent decades the surgical offerings have expanded to pediatrics, plastics, ENT, urology, OBS/GYN and neurosurgery.
“By early 2019, Kijabe will have 50 surgeons. As we now have the staff we need, we can facilitate more surgical care than ever before,” said Dr. Erik Hansen.
Your support will help to provide critical medical equipment that will empower the Kijabe team to meet the pressing demand for affordable surgical care for the people of Kenya in Jesus’ Name. We thank you in advance for your partnership.
