Samaritan’s Purse used donations from generous Canadians like you to provide physical and spiritual help to Central and Eastern Canadians who found their homes flooded by rising rivers.
Over 80 volunteers served with Samaritan’s Purse, helping almost 125 homeowners in the Ottawa area.
Samaritan’s Purse staff along with a Disaster Relief Unit was deployed to the Renfrew County area. 58 volunteers served with Samaritan’s Purse, helping 38 homeowners in the Renfrew County area.
Samaritan’s Purse also helped flood victims in Quebec. We provided emergency clean-up assistance in the Gatineau area. 42 volunteers served with Samaritan’s Purse to help 29 homeowners.
We responded to flooding in New Brunswick, and coordinated with local authorities and partners to assist impacted families and provide assistance.
Crisis-trained Rapid Response Team chaplains from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada worked alongside volunteers.
